Siberian Kittens

Purchase Policy

Answers to FAQ's I commonly get asked:
If there is something I have not covered here please feel free to contact me and ask! Thanks!

Are your kittens registered?
Yes, our cats and litters are registered through TICA.

How much does a kitten cost?
Our prices are affordable but are based on pet pricing only, regardless of individual overall quality and potential. We have top quality genetics directly from Russian show lines. Pedigrees indicate International Grand Championship sire and other titled well-known champions. Our sire comes from Russia and our queens have parentage from Russia.
Email us for current pet prices.
Prices subject to change at anytime without notice. Breeder/show potential are not factors of our rates. We breed the highest standard siberian cats, which comply to the siberian cat standard as outlined by TICA and CFA.
Many of our kittens are show and/or breeder sound but because we only offer them to pet homes, your
chance of getting an above-standard kitten at a pet price is great. Many siberian cat breeders tout that low-priced siberian kittens are below quality and standard, therefore getting what you pay for. This can be true in many cases. I want to stress that I'm not in the competition to see who can get the most for their kittens. Many folks have allergies and are also feeling the economy crunch. I hope to supply quality kittens at the best prices possible to those families that want a siberian cat companion yet cannot afford thousands of dollars to achieve that.
Raising siberian cats (or any animal) takes much dedication, love, sweat,
toil, sometimes losses, knowledge of the breed, and monetary investments. It is not for everyone. Regardless of how much you pay for your kitten, I can assure you that no one gets rich and wealthy from raising animals. We simply do it because we love them. Those that do it for monetary gain do not stay around long. Rest assured, your money goes right back into the care of the animals you are paying for.
Just the same, if you can do without the hypo-allergenic qualities of this breed or are not breed-specific, please support your local shelters. Thankyou.

Do you offer multiple purchase discount?
Current price applies per kitten. You are discounted on shipping when 2 kittens are shipped together. Great if you have a friend or neighbor also wanting to purchase a kitten. Airline limit is 2 per carrier. You only pay $100 more for shipping 2nd kitten.

What about show and breeding rights?
We do not offer show or breeding rights, except under special circumstances. Ask for pricing.

Do you ship, and what's included?
Yes, we ship worldwide, from Dallas, TX. Shipping is $300 in the contigious 48 states, which includes the veteranarian health certificate done just prior to shipping, hard carrier, canned and hard food, blanket, toys, no-spill cup, vaccine record, etc, and our gas to and from the airport. Sometimes things are removed by the cargo personel. Local buyers get a kitten starter kit which include many goodies, like grooming comb, food and feed bowls, treats, litter box, litter scoop, blankie, toys, etc. Everyone also gets emailed two different Cat And Kitten Care pamphlets! Here is a photo below showing a sample of the care package.

***Worried about summer heat? - We ship your pets out using Continental's QUICKPAK service. Continental is one of the only airlines capable of shipping
live cargo in extreme conditions with reliability. Very rarely if ever will a flight get cancelled. We have always had great experience shipping with Continental Pet Safe Program, and like our
testimonials say, our kittens are recieved on the other end well cared for and in excellent condition.

At what age do you ship?
By law, kittens must be 8 weeks to ship. They won't get vet approved until then. Many breeders have their own opinions as to when a kitten is ready to go. I normally ship my kittens out at around 10 weeks.

Are your kittens vaccinated?
Yes. Our kittens are vx'd with Fort Dodge™ KILLED FVRCP after 8 weeks old. Stools are checked at the vet and are dewormed if needed. We believe that less is best. Therefore avoiding over medicating when not needed.

What about guarantees?
All kittens are sold with a written contract with 1 year replacement guarantees on health and genetics. We strive to breed genetically superior siberians with no known history of PKD or HCM. We breed with integrity. We never knowingly sell anything with obvious health problems. We disclose everything we know about the kitten you are buying. You might need to contact us at twinharts@embarqmail.com to get the contract emailed to you, if you cannnot open the link.

Are siberians really anti allergic?
No. They are hypo-allergenic. Read the article about
Siberians and allergens here. We have not yet done the saliva testing for fel d-1 to determine allergen levels of our cats. We have had no known allergen issues resulting from previous or present cats. I have been told by some very allergic people who have been to my home that they were unaware of any feline allergens lurking around.

Can we visit your home?
We do receive many requests for home visitations. If you are interested in meeting the cats, or wish to test your allergy level, we charge $50 for a one hour visit. If you decide to adopt with us, this will go toward the total cost of the kitten. We can also provide fur samples of the expecting parents for allergy testing.

What do you feed your cats and kittens?
We feed our cats and kittens Evo™, Wellness ™, and Natural Balance™ canned and dry foods. We treat them with Greenies™. Our cats prefer fowl and organ meat over beef. We do not promote the practice of feeding a raw diet because homemade diets lack the proper balance of many nutrients. High quality processed foods are scientifically formulated to meet the everyday needs of your feline pet. Nor do we recommend all-meat diets. What if YOU were deprived of basic food groups?

I want a kitten and don't want to wait.
Thats okay.
Should we not have anything available you can be referred to other quality breeders who may have kittens available.

Do you have a reservation or waiting list?
I can add you to my PRE-BORN reservation list for a non-refundable fee of $50 which is included in your total kitten price. There is no expiration when you decide to choose your kitten, but at the time you make your choice you will need to remit $150 thus totaling the required deposit of $200 to reserve your kitten of choice.

Why won't you sell to me?
We reserve the right to decline an adoption/sale for any reason or no reason. If a reservation/payment has been paid the choice of another kitten or refund will be granted. We the breeder reserve the right to retain any kitten at any time for our breed program. Thus, we retain first pick of our kittens as long as they are still in our home.

What colors do you have?
We specialize in traditional colors with silver, shaded, and smoke variations. View our website for photos of past kittens.

How are your kittens socialized?
Our kittens are socialized in our home, without cages, around our children and dog. They will also go to their new homes knowing how to use a litter box, and have basic house manners.

I want to buy a kitten from you, how do I proceed?
Now that you have your answers and you have decided to get a kitten from our family, you need to contact us via email or phone 940-644-2818. We will need the signed contract either attached in an email, or mailed the old fashioned way. A deposit of $200 is required to hold your kitten. This is deducted off your kitten price.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Payments can be made by check, postal money order, and credit/debit cards, through Paypal to twinharts@embarqmail.com. If you use Paypal we request that you add 4% to your payments. I have allowed Paypal payments at the request of many buyers. We request that if you are sending payment by mail that you send it certified. We are not responsible for lost mail.

NEW FEATURE! THE PAYPAL EASY BUTTON - CLICK HERE TO PAY YOUR DEPOSIT VIA PAYPAL.
We were inspired to add this when a customer asked if there was one of those Paypal buttons on the site. So here it is. In an effort to simplify the process, I have added a web store to the site which will enable the purchaser to place their deposit via paypal and the 4% fee will be automatically added. Just click on the green words above to be directed to the webstore page. If you experience problems please email us and let us know.

How do you prefer the balance to be paid?
Any way that suits your financial budget, suits us. There is no particular payment plan or number of installments, but we do request that the entire balance be paid in full by the kitten's 7th week. If you are local and picking your kitty up and you still owe a balance, we do require cash at the time of pick up
This policy has not changed but I want to stress the reason for it's importance here:
A local buyer showed up with a Paypal reciept much to my surprise. I was shorted my payment which was not discovered right away. In an effort to avoid any future mis-haps, if you do not have cash balance you will not take your kitten home until you do.

What about AFTER the sale?
We encourage constant and open communication throughout the entire process, and after your kitten is finally home. Please send us plenty of pictures and tell us your thoughts and feelings about your buying experience from us. We also welcome any ideas you may have. Read our testimonials here.
